  • Uncle Tom's Cabin and other writings were not the only contribution of the Stowe family to the world and the country. The Stowes did much to restore or represent family piety, anti-slavery efforts and women's rights. They developed skills into the next generation following them that improved relationships and family care: such as domestic care instruction.
